JOIN USA 26-year-old woman was assaulted by a cashier and a bouncer of a bar on MG Road on Monday night.
Police said the victim, along with three of her male friends, had gone to WYT Bar to party. They entered into an altercation with cashier Ravi and bouncer Vinod while stepping out of the bar after consuming alcohol.
In the melee, Ravi and Vinod assaulted the woman and her friends, the police said.
Later, they approached the Cubbon Park police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Ravi. Vinod is absconding. It is said that they argued over the bill, but the woman claimed that the bouncer and cashier passed remarks. But the reason for the fight is yet to be ascertained.
The victim and her friends hail from North India and are residing in the City. The victim had completed her dental course from a college in the City.
