Future Generali rolls out 'Health Total' plan

Future Generali India Insurance, a joint venture between Kishore Biyani-promoted Future Group and global insurer Generali from Italy on Wednesday launched its health insurance product ‘Health Total’ with maximum cover period of three years.

Briefing reporters, Future Generali India Insurance State Head Vice President (Karnataka) H V Nagesh said, “The policy holders not only get hospitalisation cover, but restoration benefit, 50 per cent cumulative bonus for every claim free year, and OPD cover.”

The product is available in three variants — vital, superior and premier — and the health cover varies from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 1 crore.

It also comes with the wellness benefit and medical treatment taken abroad, he added.
The company has four offices in Bengaluru and one office each at Hubballi, Mangaluru, Belgavi and Mysuru with a manpower of 100 people. The firm will open a new office in Davangere shortly.

On a national level, the firm has tied up with 4,200 hospitals, and with 400 hospitals in Karnataka.
