<p>In a veiled attack on the RSS, Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday said people of a “particular ideology” were using India’s rich traditions of unity in diversity to divide the country.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“Our vibrant tradition of diversity is in danger. The diversity that gave us our identity and made us unique is being misused by organisation of a particular ideology to divide the country,” said Sonia at a function to confer the Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration on social activist P V Rajagopal.<br /><br />She said the incidents of hate, violence and petty mindedness being unleashed were part of a pre-determined plan. “But such evil and dangerous plans will not fructify. The people of India will never allow these dangerous forces to succeed,” she said. </p>
