Notes from Sri Lanka

Julius Mitchell, the Sri Lankan beatboxer, will be performing at Church Street Social on November 11, from 8 pm. Julius is also a vocal instrumentalist, singer, pianist, guitarist and choral and acapella music arranger/ composer. He is popularly known as the one-man band.

This artiste started singing when he was 11 years of age in the St Benedict's College Choir in Colombo. Soon he fell in love with acapella and choral music. He started to arrange choral and acapella music for the school choir at the age of 14.

There has been no turning back ever since. He has performed and conducted workshops in six countries across the world. He is excited to be coming back to India for the second
time.
