Charity concert

Acclaimed playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam will perform on November 14, 6.30 pm onwards at St. John’s Auditorium, Koramangala. He will be accompanied by Venugopal Raju’s orchestra.

A household name, he is a prolific singer who has sung more than 40, 000 songs in numerous languages over his long career. He has been conferred with various awards and the Guinness World Record for recording the highest number of songs. He has won the
National Award for Best Male Playback Singer six times.

The concert is a meeting ground for the legend with his fans. The concert is a fund raising event and the proceeds will go towards ‘Udyam Public Charitable Trust’ to help provide higher education to underprivileged students. ‘Udyam’ uses technology-driven, inclusive models by offering financial assistance to economically deprived yet intellectually privileged children. The event will also see a felicitation of Udyam scholars who have achieved academic excellence.
