Tucked away in a lane in Koramangala 4th block, this place is just nine- months-old but is quiet popular in the locality.
Soup'ermanz Kitchen, as its name denotes, is known for its soups. One-of-a-kind in the locality, this cafe sees a lot of youngsters coming in throughout the week and the families over the weekend.
“This cafe is running well and the response we are getting from people is great. This has encouraged us to work harder to serve everyone who comes in for food cooked with love,” says Chiran, the owner of the cafe.
He proudly explains that all the items one can find in the menu are tried and tested by himself.
Lack of culinary experience has, however, not stopped him from experimenting with food.
Some of the popular items in the menu are of course the soups, apart from which the burgers, sandwich combos and pastas sell like hot cakes.
For starters, soup lovers should try the hot and sour soup, and the cream of mushroom soup. For others, chilli garlic potato balls, cheezy potato shotz are a must try. For the main course, one can try creamy cheese pasta or the spicy chicken roll with a hot cup of ‘cutting chai’ or an orange blossom.
Their fresh lemon soda, and the ‘lassi’ can be a real treat for a summer day. However, for the current chilly weather, the place is the best to treat oneself with a hot delicious cup of soup.
Though the place is small, it has not failed to keep the place warm. The wall graffiti and all the notes and messages imprinted on the wall by every happy tummy adds to the homely and cosy feel.
The music is soothing and the ambience is neat.
