Ragini Dwivedi booked for not returning advance

Kannada actor Ragini Dwivedi and her brother have been booked for reportedly failing to return the advance money they received from a film producer.

A film producer has lodged a complaint against Kannada Dwivedi and her bother, a costume designer, with the JP Nagar police accusing them of failing to return the advance money they had received for signing a film.

According to the police, Venkatesh, producer of the film Nati Koli, had paid Rs 10 lakh to Dwivedi to sign a film and Rs 5 lakh to her brother Rudraksh Deekshith for designing costumes for the movie.  He stated in his complaint that she was ‘dodging’ him from past eight months on the issue. She reportedly asked him to produce another movie and said that she would act in it, said the police. A case has been registered.
