Samsung offers new cooling products

Samsung India Electronics on Thursday launched four new products — the new 360 Cassette Design, the 30HP Super DVM, the 14 HP Side Discharge DVM Eco, and the DVM Chiller — in Bengaluru.

All these products offer cooling solutions that are energy efficient, and increase cooling speed, said Vipin Agarwal, Director System A/C Business, Samsung India Electronics.

“Only a month ago we launched these innovative products in Korea, and this is the second country where we are launching them. These will offer the best user experience and use only minimal space and are high in performance,” said Agarwal, adding Samsung has been getting good response for these products in Korea.

Explaining 360 Cassette Design, he said it provides a uniform air cooling experience. “It blends in and enhances any setting — be it false ceiling, or modular ceiling. The air conditioner can be fitted within a ceiling or can be left exposed,” said Agarwal.

World’s largest capacity

Samsung 30HP Super DVM S delivers enhanced performance, and this is the world’s largest capacity available. “Nowadays people are talking about 6,000 sq. ft and 10,000 sq.ft villas, and this new product delivers efficiency and reliability, and occupies little space,” said Agarwal.

The DVM S Eco 14HP is a new side discharge VRF conditioner which aims at meeting the growing need for a specialised outdoor unit. Another product that Samsung introduced to enter into a new space is DVM Chiller. The new digital variable multi- air conditioner offers greater energy efficiency, he said. Compared with conventional chillers, this one reduces annual utility costs by 36 to 50 per cent, he added.
