<p>A 32-year-old motorcyclist was mowed down by a speeding BMTC bus in Kamakshipalya traffic police limits on Sunday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, the deceased has been identified as C Ramakrishna, a resident of Kamakshipalya. <br /><br />The incident occurred at around 4.50 pm when Ramakrishna, who was employed as a security guard, was heading towards his relative’s house. The driver of the speeding BMTC bus lost control of the vehicle and rammed into Ramakrishna. <br /><br />He was rushed to the ESI hospital in Rajajainagar, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 7 pm, said the police. <br /><br />The police have seized the bus and the driver of the bus, Mohammad Rafeeque, has also been arrested.<br /> </p>
