Addressing a news conference, BJP Leader Rajagopal Rai said that the tournament is being organised to motivate women players and as many as 32 teams from Mangalore University limits have been invited to take part in the tournament.
He said that BJP senior leaders and residents of Kodialbail ward Krishna J Palemar, N Yogish Bhat and B Nagaraj Shetty will be the guests during the programme.
The winners will be given a cash prize of Rs 3,333, Rs 2,222 and Rs 1,111 respectively for first three places. Rai said that Power lifter Geetha Bai from Mangalore will be felicitated during the programme and will be given cash of Rs 10,000.
