Minority Welfare and Wakfs Minister Mumtaz Ali Khan, on Thursday, indicated that the government was contemplating to supersede the Karnataka Board of Wakfs following a CoD inquiry which has found its CEO and Chairman guilty of illegally selling prime Wakfs property in Bangalore. Speaking to the media in Bangalore, Khan said Wakfs Board Chairman Khalid Ahmed and CEO M A Khalid had been issued show cause notices based on the CoD report and had been given time till May 30 to reply.
