Four rowdies held for murdering rival

Police have arrested four history-sheeters for the recent murder of a rival.
Mahesh, 34, Manjumithun, 27, Harish, 34 and Chiranjeevi, 25, all residents of Hebbal, harboured enmity with Sathish, a member of their rival gang, since 2011. Police said that both Mahesh and Sathish had attempted to eliminate each other in the past.

Around 10 am on January 13, the four suspects waylaid Sathish outside Balaji Textile store on Gudadahalli main road at Baiyanna Layout in Hebbal and stabbed him multiple times till he died. Sathish’s wife Ranjitha, in her complaint to the police, accused the four men of murdering her husband. Accordingly, the police detained them and later arrested them based on certain evidence.
