According to police, Vaishnavi (5) and Jitesh alias Appu (3), children of auto driver Suresh and Yashodha were playing in front of their house in B Channasandra, 3rd Cross, when they were kidnapped by Subbu alias Subramani (36) of Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu and his accomplice Venkatesh.

The men took the children to a mango grove in Ramagondanahalli, where they stayed in a relative’s house.

However, the Ramamurthynagar police swung into action after Yashodha lodged a complaint. The two men were found drunk when the police made a surprise raid and rescued the children.
