'Gnana Degula' to kick off today

A mix of industry experts, educationists and professional career speakers will bring alive the event, all set for kick off on Saturday.

To be inaugurated by the chief guests, Higher Education Minister, Aravind Limbavali and Medical Education Minister, Ramachandra Gowda, the career fest will guide students on different courses available, apart from medical and engineering, take them through the complex CET counselling process and furnish information galore.

Deccan Herald Editor K N Tilak Kumar will deliver the welcome address at the inauguration.

May 30 will feature a session on ‘Managing the CET Challenge’ with Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Administrative Officer S P Kulkarni and PRO Narasimha Murthy, as speakers.

Executive Secretary, Comed-K, Dr S Kumar will speak on the ‘Consortium’, while Prof K M Subramanya and Prof N S Narahari will speak about ‘Engineering’. The ‘General Counselling’ session will feature a talk by Dr Ali Khwaja.
