A fine bowling performance from Suraj S helped Titan Company Limited overcome EPF Recreation Club by 134 runs in the KSCA Group II, Division II tournament here.
Titan were restricted to 202 for eight in their 30 overs thanks to Subramanya Raju’s three for 25 and Gangadhar’s three for 35. Vasudev top scored for Titan with 44.
Chasing a decent total, EPF put up a shoddy display with the bat and were bowled out for 68 in 17.5 overs thanks to a fine effort from Suraj who picked up five wickets and gave away just six runs in the process.
In another match, HAL Sports Club thrashed Advocate Association Cricket Club by ten wickets.
After bowling Advocate Association out for 153 in 29.3 overs, HAL overhauled the total in just 14 overs. BR Sharat scored an unbeaten ton (101) while he received support from Sambaji, who finished on 46 not out.
