Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), the meeting of international buyers who plan to source electrical products and equipment from India, concluded with $400-mn business at Elecrama 2016.
As many as 52 countries from across the globe attended the RBSM where buyers from Africa, ASEAN, CIS, and SAARC, along with Iran participated.
Speaking at the inauguration of RBSM, Aaditya Dhoot, Organising Committee Chairman, Elecrama, said, “We have been encouraged by the response during the last edition of RBSM where we did close to $200 mn business. This time, we plan to double the number and expect business worth $400 mn coming in. We are confident that our competitiveness will give us an edge over other global manufacturers.”
Anil Saboo, Chairman, International Business Division, IEEMA, said the RBSM was in line with the ‘Make In India’ initiative.
