A 76-year-old realtor was found murdered at his house in the RMC Yard police limits.
The deceased was identified as Gilbert Koria. He hailed from Kerala and was a realtor in the City for the last 30 years. Koria’s two sons, Johnson and Gilson, live with their families at Rukmininagar and Manjunathanagar respectively. Koria lived alone since his wife’s death a year ago, said the police.

The suspects gained entry into his house and strangled him using a mobile phone cable. The domestic help, Gouri, found his body when she came to work around noon on Monday. The house was locked from the outside and she used a spare key to get in, said the police. She called the control room and informed the police.

The suspects had poured chilli powder over Koria’s body to mislead sniffer dogs and to destroy evidence. The whole stretch of road near his house has no CCTV cameras. The police are questioning his children to collect more inputs.
