Vishwanath spurs EPFR Club

Vishwanath put in a strong show with the ball as EPF Recreation Club strolled to an eight wicket victory over LRDE Sports Club in a KSCA Group II, Division II tournament fixture here.

Batting first, LRDE were stifled by Vishwanath’s 5/32 and folded for 93 all out in just 15.4 overs. Sunil was the only noteworthy contributor for LRDE, scoring 54 runs.
In response, EPF easily overhauled the totat in 19.2 overs while losing two wickets. Rathan Thosh top scored with 56.

In another match, Yuvaraj’s 111 went in vain as ABB Sports Club were beaten by BEML.
ABB scored 267/9 in 30 overs and their opponents were equal to the task and scored 270/8 in 29.5 overs thanks to good knocks from Madhu Kumar (88) and Srinivas MK (62).
