The students of St Anne’s First Grade College for Women, Miller’s Road recently organised ‘Epoch-Zistatva 2016’, an inter-collegiate fest, at its campus recently. It received good response from the students across colleges.

The chief guest was Girija Lokesh, a Sandalwood actress, who gave a message on the values of education and the relationship between a teacher and student. The students took part in various competitions with great interest.

The fest had many interesting events like ‘Ice Breakers’, mime, duet dance, instrumental music, ‘Adaptune’, face painting, literary events, solo and group dances, Indian and Western group music, beat boxing, radio jockeying and fashion show.
MJ Bob and RJ Raaj hosted the fest.

“This fest helped us to showcase our hidden talents; it boosted our confidence to organise a grand event with the support of the union and cultural committee. It also helped us analyse our strength through teamwork,” Shalini S, president of the College Union, said.

“I was surprised to see such an active crowd. It was worth coming for the fest and being part of it. I sincerely appreciate the work and effort of all members who were part of it,” said Abdullah, a student of Indian Academy.

“Being a student of the college, I feel proud of my college for organising such an amazing fest and providing opportunity for every student of other colleges to showcase their talents. All the cultural and literary events were amazing and inspired the contestants,” said Bi Bi Rabiya, a student of St Anne’s First Grade College. The efforts of coordinators, lecturers and volunteers were appreciated by everyone.
