As many as 6,40,333 students are eligible to write their second year pre-univer-sity examinations, all set to begin from Friday across the State in 1,032 exam centres.
Of the total students appearing for exams, 3,29,187 students are boys and 3,10,846 students are girls.
Sensitive centres
Of the total 823 exam centres in urban areas and 209 such centres in rural
areas, 206 centres have been considered sensitive and 73 centres as hyper-
sensitive.
Steps have been taken to form special squad teams at taluk-level areas. Mobile squads will also be formed to check the malpractice. The examinations will end on March 28.
