MRPL raises capacity of its refinery

MRPL board on February 16, decided to increase the installed capacity of the refinery from 9.69 million tonnes per annum to 11.82 million tonnes a year. This followed successful running of the unit at higher capacity during past four years, the company said in a statemen.

MRPL, a unit of state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC), is expanding its refining capacity to 15 million tonnes a year at a cost of Rs 12,160 crore.
