<p>Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday held a day-long protest against the disbanding of Lokayukta police and setting up of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). <br /><br /></p>.<p>State BJP president Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister Ananth Kumar and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa took part in the protest which was held in front of Gandhi statue near Anand Rao circle.<br /><br />“The chief minister has deliberately dissolved Lokayukta police to shield himself, his Cabinet colleagues and senior officials from investigation in several cases. I don’t understand why the chief minister was in such a hurry,” Yeddyurappa said. <br />JD(U) also launched its five-day protest against the ACB.</p>
