JOIN USA 26-year-old history-sheeter died after he was assaulted by his friends at Moti Nagar in Kalasipalyam area on Wednesday night.
Naushad, a history-sheeter at Chamarajpet police station, was a resident of Moti Nagar. He was employed at a scrap material shop in Kalasipalyam.
According to the police, Naushad got into an argument with his friend Shabaz. In a fit of rage, Shabaz and his other friends assaulted Naushad with iron rods and fled the spot. Local residents rushed him to a private hospital where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
Initial police investigation has revealed that Naushad had sold his house in Moti Nagar to Shabaz for Rs 40 lakh. Shabaz had paid only around 7 lakh and had taken time to pay the rest of the amount.
The duo would often argue over the money and Shabaz hatched a plan to bump off Naushad, the police said.
