According to police, the deceased has been identified as Shahida, a native of Gandhinagara in Somwarpet and her kid Shahal. Shahida’s sister Shameena and maruthi van driver Razak have sustained injuries.
They were bound to Somwarpet when the lorry coming from opposite direction fell on the van at a curve in Jodupala. The lorry was transporting mosquito coils. Lorry driver and cleaner have fled the spot. The mishap occurred when the lorry driver lost the control.
