<p>The ‘lagna pathrike’ of the much-touted royal wedding of Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar with Trishika Kumari Singh was drafted at the Amba Vilas Palace here on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to Palace sources, the wedding will be held on June 27 at the Palace itself. The ceremonies will begin on June 24.<br /><br />The drafting took place in the presence of Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, bride’s father Harshavardhan Singh, Palace priests, astrologers and dharmadhikari at the Chamundi Thotti of the Palace during the auspicious time (Mithuna lagna) of 10.15 am-10.40 am.<br /><br />Royal dieties<br />Chamundi Thotti is the place in the Palace where the deities, including Chamundeshwari, of the erstwhile royal family are placed in their respective mantaps and worshipped. A royal wedding is taking place in the Palace after 40 years, since the wedding of Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar with Pramoda Devi.<br /><br />Yaduveer was engaged to Trishika Kumari, daughter of Harshavardhan Singh of the erstwhile princely state Dungarpur in Rajasthan, even before he was adopted by his grandaunt Pramoda Devi Wadiyar on February 23, 2015, following the death of his granduncle Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar in December 2013.<br /><br />Yaduveer was coronated as the custodian of the Yadu dynasty on May 28, 2015, and he conducted the ceremonies during the Dasara festivities last year.<br /><br />Trishika Kumari was seen during the Palace ceremonies, including the adoption, coronation and Dasara festivities.<br /><br />Born on March 24, 1992, Yaduveer is one of the most eligible bachelors as he turned 24 recently and is the 27th Wadiyar king, a titular one with no privileges or perks.<br /><br />He has obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, in Economics and English.<br /><br />Born as Yaduveer Gopal Raj Urs, he is the only son of Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs of the Bettadakote clan of the Urs family and Tripurasundari Devi. <br /><br />Chamaraja Wadiyar X was also adopted from the Bettadakote clan by his grandfather Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar as he did not have a male heir. While Chamaraja Wadiyar’s mother Putta Ammanni was the eldest daughter of Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Tripurasundari Devi is the daughter of Gayathri Devi, the eldest daughter of Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, the last monarch of Mysuru.<br /><br /> </p>
