It was raining supermodels of all shapes and sizes at the ‘Max Mom and Kids show’ held at the Phoenix MarketCity recently. Eight of Bengaluru’s top models were joined by 8 of the cutest new kids on the block who showcased the new summer collections of this international brand.

Two supermodels Lakshmi Rana and Sonalika Sahai appeared on the ramp accompanied by their real life daughters, Navisha and Diya, much to the delight of the audience.
Showcasing the eye popping brights and classy neutrals of the season, Prasad Bidapa presented the show with an opening collection of western wear that was followed by a collection of Indo-western and ethnic evening ensembles. Featuring a riot of hand block printing, indigo hues and flowingly feminine silhouettes, the collection created a strong impact as each model walked with a smartly dressed child.

Prasad interacted with Vasanth Kumar, the executive director of Max, who explained that the fest has grown to be one of the most anticipated events in India and the response has been overwhelming. Prasad Bidapa gave the collection a resounding thumbs up not just for its style but for the affordability of the collection. This is what young India needs he said, pointing out that our youth needs fashion that they could afford and look very stylish in at the same time.

With a vast collection of separates and ensembles that could be matched and mixed at will, Bidapa wore a printed indigo tee shirt in the new longer length combined with an indigo over shirt and white patiala pants.

Lakshmi Rana and Sonalika Sahai were thrilled to have their children, Navisha, 3 and Diya, 5 walk the ramp for the very first time ever. Following in their famous mom's footsteps, so to speak.
