Exit polls have predicted that Mamata Banerjee will return to power in West Bengal, while Tarun Gogoi will lose power.
A poll conducted by ABP Ananda has projected 178 seats for TMC, a slight dip from its 2011 tally of 184.
The combined tally of main challengers CPI-M and Congress will improve from 82 in 2011 to 110, the poll says. BJP is projected to win 1 seat.
