The Siddaramaiah government, unmindful of criticism against the caste census conducted in the state last year, is all set to release the report by June-end.
Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya on Thursday reviewed the progress made in preparing the census report by Karnataka Backward Classes Commission.
The minister, speaking to the mediapersons, said the commission is currently analysing the data. It is the dream of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to conduct such census. Through it, the government intends to provide social justice to those who have been denied of the same. It has been done in a transparent manner, he noted.
