Legislative Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa has urged the state government to look into the demands of the policemen.
Speaking to mediapersons, here on Tuesday, Kagodu said that police too had the right to ask the government meet their demands.
“The government should hold discussions with the police personnel by June 4 and find a solution to their problems. A pay commission has to be formed for police personnel and the orderly system should be abolished,” he said.
