<p>The owl, which belongs to ‘Brown Wood’ species, was spotted at a coffee plantation in Chettalli near here. The owl was sitting on the branch of a tree, as it had sustained a bone fracture. A local citizen Nithin caught the owl and handed it over to the Forest Department officials. <br /><br />Though the health condition of the owl was critical, later it started recovering when it was given treatment by a veterinary doctor. Assistant Conservator of Forests (Wild Life) Vijayakumar said that the rare owl will be handed over to the Chamarajendra Zoo, once it was recovered completely.</p>
