Road rage: Bus passengers damage car

Situation turned tense as irate passengers of a KSRTC bus got down and damaged a car after its driver picked a fight with the bus driver at the Bidadi bus stand on Sunday. The car driver Sathvik, a private firm employee in Bengaluru, and bus driver Vishwanath have filed complaints against each other said the police.

Sathvik stopped the bus at Kothi Anjaneyaswamy temple on Bengaluru-Mysuru highway and started a fight with Vishwanath for overtaking. The passengers objected to his behaviour. A few persons reached the Bidadi bus stand in two cars just before the bus. Sathvik pointed an airgun at Vishwanth and abused him. On being alerted, the police rushed there and detained Sathvik, said the police. Irate passengers damaged Sathvik’s car.
