The exam will be held in August. Candidates with 50 per cent marks in PUC or equivalent course, and born before February 1993 (within 28 years) may apply.

The candidates should be of 152.5 cm height. Weight should correspond with their height. They should be of sound health, particularly with regard to eye sight, ear and teeth. The selected will get a stipend of Rs 5,700 during training. They will be getting Rs 12,500 salary after posting.

The candidates who pass the written test will be called for physical test, where one should run 1.6 km in 8 minutes. Those who clear both the tests, will be interviewed.

The exam centres will be Ambala, New Delhi, Kanpur, Bangalore, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Chennai, Bhuvaneshwar, Guwahati, Kochi and Bhopal. Travel allowance will not be given to the candidates appearing for the exam. Those who have already been dismissed from Indian Air Force, Navy and Army will not be allowed for the exam.

Coipes of SSLC, PUC mark sheets, pass port size photograph, residence certificate, conduct certificate, NCC certificate, if they were from it should be attached with the application.
