Halfway to paradise

You might have your favourite ‘biryani’ place that you frequent most of the time. However, the next time you crave for this exotic food, ‘Paradise Biryani’ would be the right place to be. As the name implies, this place is known for its delectable ‘biryani’, though the restaurant also serves North Indian dishes.

Currently, they have six branches in the city, all of which offer a wholesome menu. This restaurant holds a special place in people’s hearts as one can experience the taste and aroma of the traditional ‘biryani’ here.

Shiva Kumar, the restaurant manager at the New BEL branch says, “We see a mixed crowd coming in to enjoy the food on a regular basis. We have followed our traditions and recipes and have been successful in creating a space for ourselves in the market.”

From the classic chicken, mutton and egg ‘biryani’, one can look forward to some vegetarian ‘biryani’ as well. It is as appetising as its non-vegetarian counterparts. The staff at the restaurant are well aware of each dish in the menu. One can see them helping customers select the best item for their meal.

Apart from ‘biryani’, one can order garlic ‘kebab’, ‘chilli paneer’ or salt and pepper potatoes for starters along with a glass of fresh lime soda (which has the perfect balance of sweet, salt and sourness) or a glass of ‘lassi’. While you enjoy these crunchy delights, ask for a bowl of ‘ghee rice’, ‘dal makhani’ and ‘butter chicken’ for your main course, as the order takes some time to reach the table.

‘Gulab jamun’ and ‘Gajar halwa’ are the popular sweet dishes in the menu. A spoonful of it will certainly leave you asking for more. The ambience is clean with comfortable seating, which is helpful when one plans to treat themselves to a lot of food.

‘Paradise Biryani’ is located at Vacuum House, No 1, Chikkamaranahalli, New BEL Road. For details, call 69001675
