Diploma in food analysis at DFRL

The Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysuru, has invited applications for admission to a post-graduate diploma course in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance. A ten-month course, recognised by the University of Mysore, will start in September. The selection is based on written test and interview for 25 seats.

The syllabus for the written test will be based on the following subjects, at degree level, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition.

The candidates should have at least a degree in Science with Chemistry or Biochemistry as an optional subject or BSc in Agriculture or BVSc (Veterinary Science) or BSc in Food Science and Technology, Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or Food Science and Nutrition from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent.
