Chain Singh recovering

 India’s Rio Olympic-bound rifle shooter Chain Singh, who was hospitalised in Lausanne, Switzerland, after being diagnosed with pulmonary embolism and pneumonia, is set to be discharged from the hospital and will soon resume training.

The 27-year-old developed a condition where the veins of the patient have blood clots. “He was not keeping well as he had pneumonia, but he is ok now. He will also resume his training,” National Rifle Associaiton of India secretary Rajiv Bhatia said.
Chain is to participate in 50m rifle prone and 50m rifle 3 positions at the Games.
