Rs 2 crore for KSDL centenary building construction

Minister for Heavy Industries and Tourism R V Deshpande, on Saturday, said the government will give Rs 2 crore to construct a centenary building for Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) which has turned 100.

Minister for Heavy Industries and Tourism R V Deshpande, on Saturday, said the government will give Rs 2 crore to construct a centenary building for Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) which has turned 100.

Speaking at the centenary celebration event in the city, Deshpande stressed on the need to expand the market for KSDL products. He also emphasised the importance of engaging in continued research. The minister suggested introducing quality products at affordable rates to compete with private companies.

He also advised that increasing the export of products will help the growth of KSDL. He appreciated the employees for their efforts in taking the company on the path of success.
