JOIN USIn matches dominated by bowlers, Bishop Cotton Boys’ School and Presidency School (Nandini Layout) emerged comfortable victors in their respective matches in the under-16 Group I, Divison I tournament for the KSCA Cup.
Bishop Cotton Boys’ School hammered Vidyaship Academy by an innings and 53 runs as Tanuj Merlecha bagged 14 wickets for the match. Merlecha claimed 7/41 as Vidyaship managed a modest 117 all out in 46.1 overs. In reply, Bishop Cotton scored 249 all out in 87 overs with Neil Chikara (63) and Md Shahdad notching up half-centuries.
Merlecha was even more devastating in the second innings as he claimed six wickets in exchange of 12 runs to bundle out Vidyaship for a sorry 39 all out in 28.5 overs.
In the other match, Yashas S (3/43 and 7/6) returned a 10-wicket haul to script Presidency School’s innings and 93-run win over Ryan International School.
