<p>A woman doctor is in trouble for reportedly attempting to murder her father last year, with the police filing a case against her.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The police registered a case of attempt to murder against the Coimbatore-based doctor for trying to kill her 82-year-old father last year, while he was in the intensive care unit.<br /><br />The doctor’s act would have gone unnoticed had the CCTV not captured her footage while trying to tamper with her father's life support system, which is now going viral.<br /><br />The doctor is then seen trying to move out of the hospital room in stealth. A case under different sections of IPC--attempt to murder, extortion and trespass-- has been filed against her.<br /><br />This follows a complaint filed by her Chennai-based brother at whose hospital the old man was admitted for treatment. He also moved the Tamil Nadu State Medical Council seeking disqualification of his sister as a medical professional.<br /><br />The ailing man passed away after a few days. Council vice president Dr J A Jayalal said that some enquiries had already been conducted for which the doctor sought time to respond.</p>
