<p>BJP state Core-Committee on Tuesday decided to launch a campaign against Amnesty International by involving intellectuals.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The core-committee decided that the campaign will take on organisations like Amnesty International for “instigating” students with anti-national sentiments.<br /><br />In a press release, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa condemned the police lathi-charge on ABVP functionaries who were protesting in Bengaluru.<br /><br />He stated that it was an irony that police resorted to lathi-charge on ABVP functionaries who were shouting nationalistic slogans but let off youths who shouted anti-national slogans at the United Theological College. The police should immediately tender an unconditional apology, he demanded.<br /><br /></p>
