The patriotic fervour

Silicon City College, K R Puram celebrated the 70th Independence Day in its premises. Dr H M Chandrashekar, Chairman of Silicon City Group of Institutions, hoisted the national flag and this was followed by the singing of the national anthem.

All the members of the Silicon family saluted and offered tribute to the many freedom fighters and the soldiers at the border who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country. Addressing the students, H M Chandrashekar said that irrespective of one’s religion and caste, everyone one must join in the nation-building movement.

He stressed that though people have different languages and different religions, we are all Indians and must stand united as a nation.

students and parents were present on this momentous occasion.
