<p>She has participated in several reality shows, including ‘Bigg Boss 8’, but Karishma Tanna doesn’t like to be labelled as a ‘reality show queen’.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“There are many actors who have done more reality shows than me, but the reason I have become so prominently visible is because I have participated in three shows in the last two years,” she tells Metrolife.<br /><br />However, she feels, the experience of working in each reality show is different.<br />The 32-year-actor is now seen in the 9th season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and admits that the level of dancing in this show is different from others. <br /><br />“Here you are dancing with professional choreographers and not with your partner or anyone else. So, you have to work hard to match their steps and achieve a certain level of flexibility,” says Tanna who has participated in shows like ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’ and ‘Nach Baliye 7’.<br /><br />“Choreography too has become extremely difficult. So the participants have to work extremely hard to stay in the competition. Also, you have to understand that I am an actor by profession and this necessarily doesn’t mean that I am a good dancer,” she adds.<br /><br />For Tanna, this show is all about experiencing a new journey. “I am competing against myself and not with anyone else,” she says.<br /><br />Tanna, who made her debut with ‘Kahi to Milenge’ in 2002, has come a long way. She has acted in several TV series, hosted shows and featured in films like ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’ and ‘Grand Masti’, but has a little remorse for not doing well in the B-town. <br /><br />“I do feel a little dejected that my career in films didn’t take off, but I have managed to sustain in the industry where people know me for my work. This acknowledgement pushes me to try different things,” she says.<br /><br /><br /></p>
