Reaching out to society

D S Research Centre recently held its sixth anniversary celebrations with free health checkup camps.

The camps were organised at the BBMP Girls’ High School and Composite PU College in Jogupalya, Ulsoor and D S Research Centre in Cambridge Layout. Approximately 250 people from all age groups benefitted from the camps.

The highlight of the celebrations was the presence of a few cancer survivors who were treated at D S Research Centre and their family members. Their story of suffering, defeating and surviving cancer moved many to tears.  “We had lost all hope after the cancer diagnosis and treatment. The organisation gave hope, faith and courage to our family members and us to fight this deadly disease,” said one of the survivors who attended the programme.
