The KSRTC will operate 1,535 additional buses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to various places in view of the Gowri Ganesha festival. The buses will originate from Majestic area.
Hence, the Upparpet traffic police have proposed the following diversions for smooth vehicular movement.
* Movement of KSRTC, BMTC and private buses will be banned between Khodays Circle and Anand Rao Circle. All other vehicles can move on the stretch.
* Excluding the KSRTC, BMTC and private buses, all other vehicles can move on SC Road, from Anand Rao Circle.
* Movement of KSRTC, BMTC and private buses will be banned between Freedom Park Junction and Kalidasa Circle. All other vehicles can use the stretch.
* Vehicular movement will be banned between Kanakadasa Circle and Sagar Junction; between Abhinaya Junction and Kalidasa Junction.
* Parking will be banned on Dhanvantri Road, Railway Station Road, Tank Bund Road, Platform Road and Khodays Junction.
