Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences inaugurated the ‘Postgraduate Programme 2016’ on their campus in Peenya. The university offers 57 postgraduate programmes leading to MTech, MDS, MSc, MBA, MHA, MDesign and MPharma degrees. Students and their parents were invited for the inauguration of the programme.

Inaugurating the programme, Dr Girish Chandra, principal scientist, TCS-Research and Innovation Lab, said, “Knowledge is respected throughout the world. Research is for future-proofing the product. Without research, postgraduation has no meaning. The efforts you put in now will go a long way in your career.

You have to dream big and never be afraid to test the limits.”

Ajay Chavan, director, Service Center India, Mann+Hummel, said, “It is important to look what we are giving to the society. Education and knowledge are enablers which help solve the problems of the society. Professor and teachers transform generations by sharing their knowledge and enabling problem solvers. Postgraduate education gives students the specialised tools to overcome challenges. Be happy when you face a problem because it teaches you something new.”
