Speaking on the occasion, DCC Vice President Ivan D’Souza said that two people were killed in road accidents on Kankanadi - Marnamikatte road due to unscientific development works being undertaken by the Mangalore City Corporation.
More than 100 people were injured at various places on the stretch too, he said and demanded that cases should be booked against the contractors concerned. Corporator Appi, Congress Spokesperson M G Hegde, former Deputy Mayor Jona Govias and others were present.
