The arrested has been identified as Ubedulla (29), son of Adul Khader alias Ittige Khader, a resident of Valacchilpadav on the outskirts of the City.
Addressing press persons on Wednesday, IGP Gopal Hosur said seven others involved in the incident are absconding, who will be nabbed at the earliest.
“The department has considered the case seriously which involved use of petrol and damage to properties worth lakhs of rupees. The involvement of any organisations in the incidents will be revealed at an appropriate time,” he said.
