Wild elephants destroy areca plants

Subrahmanya had converted paddy fields into arecanut, banana garden two years ago.

In the last one month, three wild elephants have started attacking this estate and thus destroying all the plantations.

The villagers have urged the forest department to initiate action against wild              elephant menace at the earliest.
