Rao<br />.VSt. Ann’s Indian School</em></p>.<p>The love of heart is like blooming rose<br /><br />I have seen the beautiful blooming rose<br />in heart as well as on earth<br />its beauty makes us smile<br />and forget every thing for a while<br />that’s why I agree a thing of beauty<br />is a joy for ever<br />I have seen a peacock dance on land<br />how enchanting it is even without a band<br />then you begin to stare from where you stand<br />and I wish in my heart that I could<br />take it in my hand<br />that’s why I agree a thing of beauty<br />is a joy for ever<br />when the clouds clear together after a heavy down pour<br />the sun’s rays reach the earth<br />and the rainbow takes its birth<br />you will rush to see the glorious light<br />and jump with all your might to reach<br />the seven colours of light<br />I hope now you agree - a thing of beauty<br />is a joy forever!<br /><em><br /></em>M. Rishek,<br />12 years,<br /><br />The Rain drops<br /><br />The earth, helpless, scorching<br />turned up to the sky<br />when the winds suddenly howled<br />rumbled, sighed and<br />brought along a cloud<br />The earth loved the sky’s embrace<br />when the raindrops touched its face<br />To quench its thirst<br />came the raindrop first<br />the earth, the trees<br />the birds and the beasts<br />welcomed the drops of rain<br />on the moist earth, there was joy again<br />the earth - all wet with rain<br />on its surface, like tiny blades<br />the grass had grown without pain<br />under the street lights<br />in the dark lane,<br />the drops of rain<br />were glistening in the might<br />oh! what a marvellous sight!<br /><em><br />Spoorti R.Sadarjoshi<br />B C A 2nd semester<br />P.C.
