<p>The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission have obtained information on the forceful evacuation of tribals from Devamacchi Reserve Forests at Diddalli from the evacuees and the district administration and a report on the same would be submitted to the state government soon, said A Muniyappa, chairman of the Commission.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to reporters after a meeting over Diddalli episode, held at deputy commissioner’s office here on Monday, the chairman of SC/ST Commission said.<br /><br />The Commission has gathered details from tribal leaders, forest officials and the aboriginals of Diddalli. No notices have been served on 577 tribal families dwelling at Diddalli.<br /><br />The district administration will take all possible measures to provide basic amenities to the forest dwellers. Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya too, has visited the place and has directed to provide basic facilities, including drinking water, streetlights and transfer of land rights, the chairman of the Commission said.<br /><br />Also, the officials concerned have been told to provide basic facilities to Palemadu village within a month, he added.<br /><br />Commission member N Diwakar, Deputy Commissioner Dr Richard Vincent D’Souza, Additional DC M Satish Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Dr Nanjundegowda and IDTP Officer Mayadevi Galagali among others were present.</p>
