JOIN USAccording to police, the arrested are Raghuraj Singh Bhagel alias Tillu (27), and Srikanth (25). Based on a tip off, the police arrested the duo at a Patel House near Kankanady railway station. Police seized a revolver and 5 bullets from Tillu and four bullets from Srikanth. Police suspect that the duo would have purchased the revolver from Gwaliar.
Jail breaker held
DCIB sleuths arrested a person on charges of stealing gold from several houses in Mangalore two years ago. The arrested has been identified as Prasad alias Pacchu. It was said that he had pledged stolen gold worth Rs 1.25 lakh in a finance in Mangalore.
Later, the police seized the gold from finance office. He was arrested in Karkal one year ago. Though he was serving in jail, he had escaped from the jail.
